“My eye for design
was forged through traveling the world with my family (my father was in the U.S. Army.) The experiences I gained from different cultures, food, architecture, and design became priceless tokens of inspiration.
I married my best friend Rick when I was seventeen, traveled extensively with friends until deciding to settle in Nashville, TN.
I studied at O’More College of Design, and raised our four beautiful children. Motherhood, the most rewarding experience of my life!
As the children quickly grew, I continued work in the design industry for a few years prior to venturing out on my own.
I established my own firm: Angela Myers Home in the heart of 12 South Nashville, undertaking my first two solo jobs!
“My focus was making old things new while preserving the character of the home. I curated a fresh and timeless design by including vintage pieces, some custom items, and the homeowner’s sentimental objects. This sparked the idea for our mission statement: Curated Comfort.
My growth was rapid, expanding into Vacation Rental Properties by navigating their unique challenges easily. Competition is fierce in a city like Nashville where they need to look fabulous and comfortable, while standing the test of time and durability. I love a challenge. I eventually grew into larger, full house projects and renovations as well as:
-Multiple charity makeovers
-Kitchen renovations
-Primary bedroom and baths
-Home offices
-Home libraries
-Laundry rooms
-Family rooms
Though my preference lies with whole home projects, my joy lies in the details—the organizing of small things, designing closets, laundry rooms, even garages!
